
The second stage of the ongoing exercise for the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching Staff into public secondary schools in Ekiti State will hold on Saturday, 19th July, 2025 at the Main Campus of the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.
The Permanent Secretary, Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mr Michael Boluwade who disclosed this in a press statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti indicated that the second stage of the recruitment process would involve a written examination for candidates seeking appointment into both teaching and non teaching positions who met the cut-off marks in their various subject areas during the computer based test held between 16th and 21st June, this year.
The Permanent Secretary reminded candidates taking part in the examination to bring along copies of their Computer Based Test (CBT) result slips, coloured print out of their registration slips and their pens to the examination centre, with a warning that calculators, electronic devices and phones will not be allowed in the examination halls.
He is also stressed that only candidates with professional qualifications in education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) are qualified for teaching positions, while O’ Level/ SSCE certificates in addition to 35 words per minute ICT compliance are required for Laboratory Attendant /Library Assistant and Secretarial Assistant positions respectively.
While stressing that only applicants who meet all the requisite qualifications would be allowed to participate in the exercise, the Permanent Secretary advised the candidates to adhere strictly to the conditions guiding the conduct of the examination, warning that anyone caught trying to impersonate or perpetrate any form of examination malpractices will be handed over to security agencies for prosecution.
