
Ekiti State government has donated an 18-seater Toyota Hiace bus to the UBEC/SUBEB Smart School at Ijan Ekiti as part of efforts to enhance the smooth operations of the school.
Presenting the bus to the management of the School in Ado – Ekiti, the Executive Chairman of State Universal Basic Education Board , Prof. Femi Akinwumi said the vehicle would go a long way in enhancing movement of personnel and essential equipment to and from the school as well as motivate both management and staff for increased productivity.

While stressing that the Oyebanji led administration would continue to give priority attention to the basic education sector through the provision of required infrastructure ,the SUBEB Boss reiterated the commitment of government towards teachers’ empowerment and improved condition of service.
Prof. Akinwumi charged the management of the School to make judicious use of the vehicle in order to attract more incentives from the State government.
Responding, the Principal of the School, Mr. Ayodeji Osatuyi said the vehicle would go a long way in assisting the school in solving the problem of transportation being faced by the school Osatuyi while appreciating the gesture of the Oyebanji led administration, promised more commitment from the Staff of the school to their duties for optimal service delivery.
