
Ekiti State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Otunba Kayode Fasae has restated the full commitment of the Oyebanji administration towards the creation of wealth and employment opportunities for the people of the state.
Otunba Fasae who gave the assurance while receiving the newly appointed board members of the Job Creation and Employment Agency (JCEA) led by their Chairman, Prof. Matthew Oluwamukomi said Ekiti Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji would leave no stone unturned in providing job opportunities for the teaming youths in the State
The Commissioner stated that the state government through the ministry is working round the clock to create a conducive and sustainable business environment that would promote commercial activities in line with the present Administration’s shared prosperity agenda.
He stressed that fresh ideas from individuals and corporate organizations on ways of making youths to be gainfully employed are welcomed by the ministry adding that his Ministry was willing to collaborate with the Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the State to achieve the set objective of making all eligible citizens to be gainfully employed
He briefed the Chairman and board members of the ongoing initiatives of the ministry to provide job opportunities for the people of the State which include: the proposed agency banking, training of 100,000 Ekiti people in collaboration with Wema Bank Plc. and Ekiti Employment Trust Fund (ETF) designed to provide N250million as start up loans to be disbursed for the support of eligible Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) in the State

Earlier in his remarks, the board Chairman, Prof. Oluwamukomi said the board was ready to contribute meaningfully towards the development the realisation of the ministry’s programmes.
He pledged that he and his team would bring their vast experiences to bear in their new assignment of creating job opportunities for youths and people of the State.
