
Ekiti has won four more medals at the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival holding in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In weightlifting, Tope Olufemi won a silver and bronze medals for Ekiti at the Shagamu centre in the 102kg category.
At the ikenne centre, Prudent Wilfred clinched Bronze medal for the state in the game of wushu kung-fu in the 90kg category while the duo of Yaya Omolara and Omolara Ruth defeated their opponents to bag Bronze medals in the female double category in the game of Ayo Olopon at the Ikenne Centre.
In Boxing, Esan Michael also of Team Ekiti defeated Sulaiman Sakariyau from Kano state in the 70kg bout just as Chibueze Bethel defeated his opponent from Enugu in the + 90kg 5-0 points in the preliminaries.

In Tennis, Adeleye Daniel of Team Ekiti recorded a resounding 4-0, 4-0 win over his opponent from Kwara State and scrapped through to the next round.
Team Ekiti has also reached the 5th round of the game of Chess.
