
Team Ekiti on Saturday won another Gold Medal in the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival, holding in Abeokuta Ogun State.
This brings to two the number of gold medals so far won by the State in the biennial fiesta.
The State won its first gold medal on Friday through Christianah Adetolu in Female Para-powerlifting while Joshua Olaniyi earlier today won the second Gold for Ekiti State in the shot-put event for persons with disabilities.
With the development, Ekiti State has now won 2 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals.

In Tennis, Daniel Adeleye lost his semi final game in the men’s category while in the female category, Ogunjobi success also lost her semi finals and both players won bronze medals for the state.
