In a bid to boost commerce within the State and reinforce the local content policy of the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, a delegation from the Ekiti State Government, led by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro has paid a visit to ram and goat sellers at the Adere Neighborhood Market along Ilawe Road in Ado-Ekiti
The visit was aimed at officially informing the livestock traders of the State government’s decision to procure rams and goats for the upcoming Sallah festival from local sellers, thus continuing the tradition of the administration in recent years.

Prof. Adubiaro stated that the initiative reflects the commitment of Governor Oyebanji to promoting local businesses and minimizing capital flight by encouraging the patronage of indigenous markets.
The delegation was warmly received by Chief Mary Adewole and other traders, who expressed their gratitude for the government’s support assured of their readiness to supply high-quality livestock at reasonable prices to meet the state’s requirements for the festive celebration.
