The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, will on Friday distribute cheques of accrued profit and certificates of participation to participants of the second cohort of the Ekiti Broilers Production Scheme (EBOPS).

A statement by the Ekiti State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Ebenezer Boluwade noted that the payment represents the profit realized from the sales of broilers produced during the last production cycle of the scheme.
The beneficiaries will receive the profit in addition to the monthly stipends they earned during the production period.

The event is scheduled to hold at the Lady Jibowu Hall, Government House Grounds, Ado-Ekiti, and will commence at 12.30pm.

All participants and invited guests are expected to be seated by 12 noon.

The Ekiti Broilers Production Scheme (EBOPS) is a flagship agricultural empowerment initiative of the Oyebanji administration aimed at promoting youth engagement in agriculture, enhancing food security, and supporting agribusiness development in the State.
