EKSG commences 2024/2025 promotion exercise for teachers, others

Ekiti State Government has commenced the promotion exercise for deserving teaching and non-teaching staff of public secondary schools in the state.

Addressing the teaching and non teaching staff that are qualified for the promotion exercise at the premises of Ola-Oluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado Ekiti, the Permanent Secretary, Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mr Michael Boluwade appealed to the eligible staff to cooperate with the panels constituted for the promotion processes to guarantee a hitch free exercise.

While appreciating the Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the timely approval of the 2024/2025 promotion to all cadres of the public service, Mr Boluwade said, staff of the Teaching Service Commission would enjoy the financial benefits on their promotion like their counterparts in the core civil service, without delay in effective date of their promotions and the date the financial benefits are to commence

The Permanent Secretary, disclosed that apart from presentation of their original certificates and other credentials, eligibility staff must also be appropriately dressed to the venue of the exercise

He informed staff that the commission has put in place a complaint desk where candidates with complaints would be attended to, assuring that no deserving staff would be denied of his or her rights.

It would be recalled that Governor Biodun Oyebanji recently approved the promotion of eligible employees of the state government some weeks ago, of which not less than 3713 staff of the Teaching Service Commission are expected to be promoted in an exercise that is scheduled to last for six working days.
