
The Ekiti State Government in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) will on Thursday, 12th September 2024 hold a technical workshop on Housing Barometer and Public-Private Partnership for stakeholders in the housing and urban development sector
A statement from the office of the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Lands and Geographic Information System, Mr Akintobi Olusanmi made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti said the Workshop is part of the Institutional Capacity Support of UN-Habitat and is follow up to the Ekiti Waste Wise City Tools (WaCT) trainings which took place on the 20th of August 2024.
According to the statement, the event which will take place at the Ground Floor Conference Hall, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti by 9am will focus on creating a link between Effective Land Administration, Tourism, Housing, and Urban Planning and Development through Public Private Partnership.
Olusanmi said All invited stakeholders are expected to attend the forum as scheduled.

Meanwhile, the UN-Habitat team will on Wednesday embark on a Nature Hike/Site Visit for Ecotourism Shelter and later in the day meet with Governor Biodun Oyebanji and some other critical stakeholders as a prelude to the workshop.
