Ekiti Special Adviser Urges Staff to Prioritise their Health

The Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Special Projects, Hon. Olubunmi Talabi, has urged staff of the Bureau to be mindful of their health and seek medical attention promptly when necessary.

Speaking at the bureau’s monthly meeting in Ado-Ekiti, Hon. Talabi said good health was essential for staff dedication and productivity, which ultimately contributes to societal development.

He advised workers not to take their health lightly, stressing that maintaining well-being was as important as fulfilling official duties.

The Special Adviser also emphasised the importance of staff commitment and hard work as a driver of growth and development assuring employees that outstanding performance would be recognised and rewarded.

Talabi warned against negligence, indolence, and truancy, reminding staff of the provisions of the Official Secrets Act and the potential consequences of breaching it.

He also urged staff to take practical measures to safeguard government property, including switching off electrical appliances at the end of each workday.

Highlighting the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, he encouraged employees to support the government’s initiatives and help deliver on its developmental mandates.

He described the governor as proactive, committed to rapid transformation, and dedicated to the welfare of the people of Ekiti State.
