
The Ekiti State Office of Transformation and Service Delivery has said that it would continue to come up with strategic initiatives that cut across ministries, departments and agencies particularly on critical areas that optimize performance and enhance effective service delivery in the State Public Service.
The Special Adviser on Transformation and Service Delivery, Dr John Ekundayo made the assertion in Ado Ekiti while reviewing the outcomes of a recent inspection of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) embarked upon by a team led by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr Adetunji Aribasoye.
Ekundayo who reiterated the resolve of the State Government to equipping workers to help deliver the shared prosperity agenda of the present administration said his Office would make recommendations based on the report of findings of team to the Governor on training workers as well as providing MDAs with the necessary tools for optimizing performance and effective service delivery.
According to the Special Adviser, the recommendations include trainings for clerical officers, provision of working tools, office tagging, centralization of mail’s movement, systematic recording of incoming and outgoing mail at the open registry, and automation of registries in all MDAs.

Ekundayo said special attention would be placed on the Bureau of ICT in order to help actualize the recommendations.
The team which visited over 50 MDAs in the State , included the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Adetunji Aribasoye; Special Assistant on Service Delivery to the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Toba Fatunla; Mr. Kehinde Ogunyemi; Mr. Bamidele Adejoro and Mrs. Sherifat Arewa
