
Extension classes organized for SS3 students in Public Secondary Schools in Ekiti State will commence on Thursday, 11th April, 2024.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Bimpe Aderiye, explained that the programme was arranged to give teachers undivided attention for the SS3 students who are preparing for the forthcoming WAEC/SSCE examination that will commence in the first week of May, 2024.
Stressing that other students would be on 2nd term break from 8th – 29th April, 2024, Dr. Aderiye advised parents and guardians to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the State Government to keep the students busy and primed for their approaching external examinations by releasing their children and wards for the extension programme.

She reiterated the commitment of the State Government to the provision of quality education and sustenance of excellent performance in all external examinations.
