….as Special Adviser IPMO stresses full commitment to proper monitoring and evaluation of capital projects.

The Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Independent Project Monitoring (IPMO) , Hon Olufemi Ajayi has said that his Office would spare no efforts towards achieving it’s mandate of monitoring and evaluating all government capital projects with a view to ensuring that the projects are executed efficiently and effectively within the set timelines and budgets .
Hon Ajayi who gave the assurance in Ado-Ekiti during a meeting of the management and top officials of the Office said all hands must be on deck to ensure transparency, and accountability in the execution of Government’s Capital Projects and overall efficiency and effectiveness of public infrastructural development of the State.
He stated that the IPMO would continue with its mission of regular monitoring and evaluation of capital projects with zero tolerance to sub-standard project implementation under Governor Biodun Oyebanji led administration.
The Special Adviser and other members of the Management later reviewed the monitoring activities of the office, strategized to improve on current accomplishments of the office so that the shared prosperity agenda of the Biodun Oyebanji led Administration would continue to manifest in all the nooks and crannies of Ekiti in terms of quality and impactful capital projects.
The workplan of the IPMO for 2025 also came under review at the meeting with members making meaningful contributions so that the office could maintain its steadfastness of not compromising quality and standards in the implementation of capital projects in the LGs, LCDAs and state MDAs.
The meeting discussed the intricacies in project assessment and monitoring and proffered probably solutions to making the team formidable in ensuring implementation of projects according to specifications and standards across the State.
Feedback on the performances of the technological monitoring equipment of IPMO were also reviewed with the identification of other technologies to leverage on for objective and qualitative project assessment/monitoring
Present at the meeting were the Administrative Secretary of the Office: Mr. Segun Adebayo ,the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (North), Hon Olufemi Olarewaju (South), Hon Kehinde Boluwade Bolics, (Central )Hon Lanre Fasuan as well as other Professionals/Technical Officers
of the Office
Also at the meet were the three (3) recently appointed Senior Special Assistants, Mr Mufu Apata- Oye LGA, Mr Suliamn Muhyindeen Olu- Ido/Osi LGA and Mr Ogundana Sikuru- Ekiti East LGA and a Special Assistant: Mr Yisa Muftau- Ekiti from Ekiti SouthWest LGA.
