
The Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji will on Monday, 12th August, 2024 officially launch the first Ekiti State Innovation Hub.
A statement from State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Digital Economy, Mr Seun Fakuade made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti said the landmark event would hold at Obafemi Awolowo Civic Centre, Fajuyi, Ado-Ekiti by 10.00am
He noted that the event would mark a significant milestone in the State’s journey to become Nigeria’s innovation and technology epicenter.

While stressing the importance of the Innovation Hub to the State, the Commissioner affirmed that the hub will ensure comprehensive ecosystem that could bring together entrepreneurs, researchers, developers, and investors, adding that, It will also offer access to state-of-the-art facilities, mentorship programmes, funding opportunities, empowering young innovators to turn their ideas into viable businesses among others.
He assured that the hub when formally launched would stimulate the local economy, attract investments, create jobs and enhance the overall prosperity of Ekiti State.
Fakuade advised all guests and technical ecosystem players to attend the event punctually.
