
Five new road projects have been slated for official commissioning during the celebration of the second anniversary of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in office.
The State Commissioner for Works, Mr. Sola Adebayo who made this known in Ado Ekiti highlighted the road projects to include De Head to Farglo and Old Iyin Road scheduled for commissioning Saturday, 19th October while the Agric Olope to Moferere road and Third GRA Extension, both in Ado Ekiti metropolis are slated for Sunday, 20th October.
Mr. Adebayo added that the Ilawe to Erijiyan link road and Ikole Township roads would be officially opened for use on Monday, 21st and Tuesday, 22nd October respectively.
Describing the road projects as a reflection of the Oyebanji administration’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural development and improved transportation system that would boost economic activities in the State, Adebayo stressed that the road projects were strategically designed to enhance connectivity and ease movement for residents and businesses.

According to him, the roads would significantly improve access to key areas within Ado-Ekiti, Ikole, Ilawe and Erijiyan, while reducing travel time and promoting road safety.
Soliciting the continued support of all stakeholders for efforts of the present administration to rapidly develop the State and make life easier for the people, Adebayo assured that no stone would be left unturned in achieving the Governor’s vision of transforming Ekiti into a hub for economic growth and development.
