
Wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji has again donated food items to Erelu Adebayo Children’s Home in Iyin Ekiti with an assurance that the children of the facility cannot be forgotten.
The Governor’s Wife gave the assurance while presenting the food items to children’s home at Iyin-Ekiti.
Dr Oyebanji who was represented at the event by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Peju Babafemi noted that the presentation of food items was a gesture of care and assistance aimed at supporting Government efforts.

According to Dr Oyebanji, every child deserves love, norishmrnent and sense of belonging regardless of their circumstances.
“I call on on all well to do individuals in the society to bend backwards and see the need to put smiles on the faces of these special children and the vulnerable in the society. Doing this would make our society a better place for all of us to live in”.
She therefore appreciated the caregivers and management of the home for their dedication, sacrifice, compassion and commitment to supporting the children and for shaping their lives and giving them hope of a better future.
“As you receive these items today, may they meet your needs and brighten your days as there is every hope that all these gesture will shape your lives and give hope of a bright future” the Ekiti First Lady added
Receiving the food items alongside with members of the management of the Children’s Home, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Omotayo Olatilu appreciated the continuous efforts of the Governor’s wife and other individuals at bringing smiles on the faces of the children.
Food items donated to the Home include :noddles, beverages, provisions,daily needs and food stuff, among other materials required for the Children’s upkeep.
