The Ekiti State Government is set to commission a new office complex and a 100-seater multi-purpose hall for the Bureau of Special Projects as part of efforts to enhance staff productivity and improve service delivery.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Projects, Mr. Olubunmi Talabi, disclosed this in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday during a meeting with staff on preparations for the inauguration of the facilities.
Talabi said the one-storey office complex and adjoining conference hall, approved by Gov. Biodun Oyebanji, would be officially commissioned on Monday,June 8.
He explained that the bureau had operated under inadequate office accommodation since its establishment, adding that the new state-of-the-art facility would provide a more conducive working environment for staff.
According to him, the 16-room office complex is equipped with complementary ante-rooms and conveniences for principal officers, a development expected to boost operational efficiency and enhance service delivery.
Talabi commended Oyebanji for prioritising workers’ welfare through the provision of modern office infrastructure.
